Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of the town she grew up in. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder believes she is Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. She is the younger sister of Uria and two half-siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. Ryder's parents moved her along with her siblings to Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. The town didn't even have electricity. Ryder became an avid read because they had no television. Ryder started taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was 12. Lucas The film from 1986, was her first major character. Ryder was only 15 when she got it. Ryder suffered bullying in the high school. Ryder hoped that her actions would bring about a change. Sadly, this didn't occur. The actress continued to chase her ambitions. In 1988, in the year Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder was a star in several films. In 1993 she received two nominations for Academy Awards. One of was for her performance as a character in The Age of Innocence.
