Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman. she is the current president and owner-controller of the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss, who is from California, was raised in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was an entrepreneur in real estate who went on to own the Lakers as well as various other sports organizations. When she was in the year 1972, her parents broke up together and she felt left out. She joined her family's business in the age of 19 and became the general manager of the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. Later, she founded the Los Angeles Blades, a professional, roller-hockey club.
